One of my Favourite Walks

"Evening Rolls in over the Hills of Gortermone" - Mixed Media on Wood Panel by Paula Richards Hynes

I enjoyed creating this painting so much, it was inspired by one of my all time favourite walks! 

I absolutely love it and never more so than when the evening sky begins to roll in over the hills of #carrigallen and slowly changes the colours of everything around me. 

It’s one of those hilly but a bit of good challenge type walks.  By the time we get back up that hill again and head back to the fire our little dog, Jess, is so relieved to stretch out on her cushion and completely flake out for the night 😄

Thankfully it’s been such a beautiful day here in Delvin and very warm in the studio as a result, thats really going to help to speed up the drying very nicely so that I can put the finishing touches to it tomorrow - fingers crossed 🤞🏻
