Winter Sun

"Winter Sun" is part of my Parnellite Cottage series commenced in 2022.   It is a large mixed media artwork on stretched cotton canvas set in a beautiful handcrafted 'St Ives' picture frame and would make the ideal gift or house warming present.
 
The painting was inspired by the colours I see in the January winter sun here in rural Ireland.   While the sun may be low during that time of year and the trees bare of their leaves there is still so much colour to be enjoyed.
